OUR GRACIOUS HOSTS

David (Jack Frost), Sam & Finn Bartok own and manage St Stephens on The Hill, an ever-changing event venue. St Stephens on The Hill encompasses almost 100 acres which has been in the Bartok family since 1937 when David’s Hungarian grandparents purchase the property from African American physician Dr J.H. Lewis.

Dave also owns several historical homes in Eldorado that are short-term rentals that are managed through Airbnb.com. If you have not already noticed, giving back and providing events for community is a passion of his.

She has been a photographer in Southern Illinois for over 20 years focusing on families, kids & studio work.

OUR CARRIAGE DRIVERS

Josh and Sally live in Southern Illinois, very close to the Garden of the Gods. This area is a mecca for horse lovers all over the midwest. Josh has an IT company in Evansville called Mash Networks. They specialize in computer and security systems. Sally has been in the auto industry forever. She has been with Expressway Auto Group for 20 years. But our passion is the horses!!

The big team of Dapple Horse Hill came to us from Canada. The city of Thunder Bay, Ontario used them to give sleigh rides around Centennial Park. When the city decided to accept applicants to be their next home, we jumped at the opportunity and were thrilled when we were chosen! Jules has been Major’s partner lately. She has a little attitude with him. Izzy, the new “baby”, has decided to follow Major around in the pasture.

MISS KAREN - AN ELF IN CHARGE

Miss Karen has been an Elf in Charge at the North Pole tent for many years but she also owns and operates the wonderful igloo photo booth.

MISS EMILY - AN ELF IN CHARGE

Miss Emily is our local Librarian who moonlights as an Elf in her free time. She is in charge of keeping the North Pole tent running smoothly and keeping it stocked with lots of cookies and hot chocolate.

MISS TORI - AN ELF IN CHARGE

Miss Tori is a Kindergarten teacher who dreams of Santa all day and Elfin’ all night. She is in charge of all the craft tables and making sure everyone is minding their manners on the sock skating rink.
